In the editor, if the background color is set to black, the symbols '-', '<', and '>', etc. are also set to black, making them "invisible", unless the line is highlighted by the cursor. This can make it very difficult to quickly see a comparison check like 'variable <> -1' since it appears as 'variable 1' when looking through the code.
