Would it be possible to have a Test-button after configuring the mail server?
When configuring the mail server for Spotlight for SQL Server Enterprise we miss a simple test-button which sends a test mail .
Unfortunately you have to wait until an alarm is raised in order to see if the mail server works.View->Options->Diagnostic Server-> Configure the Mail Server...->Configure Mail Server
