In Spotlight 9.5, when selecting an SPID row in Sessions tab of SQL Activity pane, the bottom detail pane shows an incorrect SPID along with the following error:
"SPID does not exist"
Issue occurred after upgrade to version 9.5. All detail tabs are blank
WORKAROUND:
Perform below steps to apply patch:
1. Go to C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Package\sqlserver_spotlight\2008 folder
2. Backup (or rename) the original QS_ConnectinLlist.sql file in this folder
3. Copy the attached file to this folder
Note: Diagnostic Server service does not need to be restarted. It is recommended to upgrade to version 9.5.1 when available
STATUS:
Issue fixed in the current release of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise. To upgrade to the latest version without loss of existing connections and configurations, upgrade to Spotlight version 10.0 first. Contact <a href="https://support.quest.com/contact-support">support team</a> to obtain installers of previous versions of Spotlight.
