The SQL Server infrastructure is being moved to Azure.
A POC(Azure Proof of Concept) has been created and the Always on Availability group has been set up as per the Azure guidelines.
It is possible to connect to the availability group using SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) from the server hosting the spotlight diagnostic server.
- When adding the listener to Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise it has been used the following format : LISTENERNAME, PORTNUMBER.
- When adding the listener the test connection succeeds and it is added to Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise
- Spotlight is unable to collect information from the availability group and the error below is received:
Collection 'Availability Group Failover Detection' failed : Address:DMG-SQLAG01PV.dm.p,50001 is not Availability Listener address
