Is there a way to monitor the SQL Server Reporting Services service when the service is a generic resource in the Cluster Manager to ensure its online. The SSRS service is part of the SQL Server Cluster so the service has to be set as manual to allow failover ability.
How to get alerted when any of the following services are stopped or not started in Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise:
SQL Server Integration Service
SQL Server Reporting Service
SQL Server Notification Service
