If you are are upgrading from 10.0.0.697x to 10.0.0.698x, please follow these steps depending on these 2 scenarios...
First scenario:
If you installed 10.0.0.697x and have a backup of the Diagnostic Server directory you should do the following:
1.Stop the Diagnostic Server service.
2.Rename the directory {DS dir}\Agent\conf to {DS dir}\Agent\conf-save
3.Restore {DS dir}\Agent\conf from backup
4.Install new version 10.0.0.6982
5.Run the client
6.After you have verified that your setting look correct only then you can delete {DS dir}\Agent\conf-save
Second scenario:
If you have installed 10.0.0.697x and you do NOT have a backup, you may have lost some configuration. When you install 10.0.0.6982 the upgrade will run again and complete what it failed to do last time (if that occurred). It creates an HTML report in directory under the directory {DS dir}\Agent\log. you can open index.html to view the report. In the main page it will print a message if any configuration has been lost showing what that was for i.e. which connection type (like SQL Server) or which connection. The configuration that was lost will include threshold over-rides, ignore lists as well as any actions.
From the latest release forward (10.0.0.6982 and later) first thing the upgrade code will do is backup the conf directory before making any changes.
