How do you open an xml plan as graphical plan in ssms from Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise?
For versions prior to 7.6, please click on the Open in Management Studio link within the Spotlight console as per the attached screen shot.
In versions 7.6 or later, in the ribbon you will see a button called “View Plan”; clicking this button will display a graphical plan in SSMS if installed
