WORKAROUND:
1. Select Configure | Alarm Actions option from top of your screen. Click New button to create a new rule.
2. Provide a name to rule, i.e. “Suppress false disk alarms”
3. From the Conditions list, check “The Alarm is” and check ‘The details contain…” checkboxes
4. At bottom, click on Alarms link
5. Expand “SQL Server” Alarms node and check all or any of these alarms: “Databases - Data File Group Space Used”, “Databases - Dynamic Data File Group Growths Remaining”, “Databases - Dynamic Log File Growths Remaining” , "Databases - Log File Space Used"
6. Click OK to close and click the “Following phrases” link at bottom:
7. Click Add button and copy/paste this phrase: no data in the fileinfomissingreason column of the File Groups collection
8. Click OK to close window and OK again
9. From the Actions list, click “Suppress Alarms” checkbox
10. Click OK to save this rule and click OK to close the Alarm Action rule
