Description
Blocking alarms are not detected by Spotlight Home page. The alarm was raised in real time and email was generated at the time. But in Playback mode the status of blocking collection is green and alarm is not shown. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
This KB article has a new QS_BlockingList.sql attachment for Spotlight 11.7.1. Please download it, back up the original one, and replace the original with the new one under C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Package\sqlserver_spotlight\2005\QS_BlockingList.sql. There is no need to restart the Diagnostic Server.STATUS:
Waiting for fix in future release of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise. -
