When applying an alarm template, Spotlight continues to ask of the same confirmation changes.
Description
When applying an alarm custom template to a set of connections, the last pane of wizard warns user that these connections have customized alarms and that these customized alarms will be overwritten. Connections don't have any customized alarms or alarms are not different than the template.
Cause
Template includes alarm changes that use Key Value text. The text was entered with capital letters and Spotlight converts the text to all lower case letters. However, when applying the template to other connections Spotlight takes into account capitalization of the Key Values.
Resolution
Issue fixed in the current release of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise. Latest version of Spotlight can be downloaded from here.
