Does the number of people using the Spotlight client impact performance

The number of people looking at Spotlight should not impact resources on the monitored server or SQL Server instance. Spotlight uses the Diagnostic Server (DS) agent to collect data (OS and SQL) and displays this in the Spotlight client. The Spotlight clients connect directly to the DS, so there could be multiple clients connected to the DS, but the DS would still have only one connection to the OS and one connection to the SQL instance or instances if there’s more than one instance on the server. Therefore the load is on the DS host not the monitored sysytem.
