Can Spotlight Alarms be consolidated
Description

We are currently using Spotlight 7.0.0.4509 and have two questions regarding alarms...
1. Alarms are sent for each value. Can it be consolidated?

Ex. Alarms for "SQL Agent - Jobs Failed" : we have 3 jobs failed, we get 3 email notifications. Can it be combined and just get one email with all failed jobs listed?

2. If we change a setting for the alarm - say included the pager info for notification along with the existing email addresses: the emails that were sent earlier in the day are resent again. Is there a way for Spotlight to know that the email was sent earlier?
Resolution

1. It is not possible to combine alarms and send them as a single message: they evaluated separately and such enhancement would require redesigning significant part of the code.

2. The product will send notification only when severity changes to a higher level. So, modifying email list won’t cause alarm triggering.
