Alarm Action is changing the severity first and not sending email
Description

An alarm action is setup with two actions in this order:
1. Send email
2. Decrease the alarm severity to Information
Spotlight does not follow this order. It will change the severity to information first and never send the email.
Resolution

WORKAROUND: Create two separate alarm actions: one for sending email; the other for decrease severity. Make sure the action for sending email is on top of the action for decreasing severity because the order of alarm action decides the execution order.
STATUS: Issue fixed in version 11.5. The latest version of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise can be downloaded at https://support.quest.com/spotlight-on-sql-server-enterprise/download-new-releases
