How do you increase Database File IO Statistics retention period?
Description

When trying to get the database file IO stats, via the reporting and trending view, you can only see about 3 days worth of back data.
How can this be increased?
Resolution

- Go to Configure | Scheduling
- In the list which appears, scroll down to 'Virtual File Stats' and select it
- Tick the box 'Override the default settings for the collection 'Virtual File Stats''
- Select the 'Store reporting data in the Spotlight Statistics Repository'
- Choose the amount of time you wish to retain the data for.
