Error, "Stopping Diagnostic Server. catastrophic error occurred. Attempt to load duplicate configuration for Monitored_entity" -
Description
When attempting to restart the Diagnostic Server service, it will throw the following error and then will not start:
Stopping Diagnostic Server. a catastrophic error occurred. Attempt to load duplicate configuration for Monitored_entity <con_name>.
Where the <con_name> is the name of a connection in Spotlight.

Resolution
SOLUTION:
1. Stop the Diagnostic Server service, if not done so already.2. Browse to default folder: 'C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Monitored_Entity' and locate the connection files mentioned in the error. i.e. "<con_name>.xml" and "<con_name>_sqlserver.xml" and move them to the Desktop.3. Go to default folder: 'C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\Agent\data\caches' and delete all contents there.4. Start the Diagnostic Server service again.5. When that works, re-create the connection manually in the Spotlight client.
