Title

Spotlight consuming Tempdb space over time.
Description

Spotlight consuming Tempdb space over time. User sees Spotlight Diagnostic Sever (Monitoring) that is consuming the largest chunk of Tempdb objects.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
1. Go to {Diagnostic Server installation folder}Agent\conf\Package\sqlserver_spotlight\2012 SP2 folder
2. Move existing QS_TempDBSessionSpaceUsage.sql folder outside of this folder
3. Copy attached file to this same folder
5. Rename file from NewQS_TempDBSessionSpaceUsage.sql to QS_TempDBSessionSpaceUsage.sql
6. Restart of Diagnostic Server.

STATUS:
Waiting for fix in future version of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise.
** By default Diagnostic Server installation folder is C:\Program Files\Dell or Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\
