In Spotlight on Oracle, there is a migration link under the Options from the General tab. Does Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise also have a migration wizard?
The difference is that in the Enterprise Edition, all the profiles are stored on Diagnostic Server, therefore all the clients use the same connections.
You can migrate Spotlight on SQL Server connections from one Diagnostic Server to another using importSoSSE.bat script:
1. Stop both source- and destination- Diagnostic Servers.
2. Go to '<SoSSE installation path>\Agent\bin\' directory on the Diagnostic Server-destination machine (where you are going to import historical data).
3. Run the following file with the parameter below:
importSoSSE.bat source
where the source is remote Diagnostic Server installation from which you are going to get the source-historical data. You have to map appropriate network drive before running the batch file importSoSSE.bat.
This parameter should look like the following:
ImportSoSSE.bat X:\Program Files\Quest Software\Diagnostic Servers
