What is new in Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise 13.0? (4304952)

New Features:

• Manage access to Spotlight connections -Define which Spotlight Users are entitled to view which Spotlight connections. You can open this screen from Configure | Diagnostic server in Spotlight Client. See KB article 307731 or Introducing user level access with Spotlight 13.0 blog for more details.
• Acknowledge or Snooze alarms - Windows Powershell /the command line can now be used to acknowledge or snooze alarms. See KB article 307733 for more details.

Enhancements:

• DS-1514 - The severity thresholds of the poor performance health alarm in the Factory Settings template have been updated. They now use the same configuration as that set in the Factory Reduced Sensitivity Template.
• SOSSE-7810 - Plan visualization and plan analysis have been added to the Wait Events drilldown.
• SOSSE-7801 - When the SQL Server host is set to ‘Cluster (Monitor active node)’ the connection timeout is set to 30 seconds and the number of times Spotlight should attempt to connect to the SQL Server instance before raising the Connection Failure alarm is 4. These settings cannot be changed.
