WORKAROUND 1:
Use the Export icon towards the top-right corner of screen that's shaped as a disk to save the displayed SQL
WORKAROUND 2:
Use Powershell command to export desired data with the following steps:
In Spotlight version 13.2.1:
1. Back up the files DiagnosticServer.Install.Utilities.dll in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Spotlight Enterprise\Console of the client machine
2. Unzip the attached 7z file and replace the above file
3. In the same path, locate and right-click on ds-cli.cmd file to run as Admin and open PowerShell in command line
4. Run the below command:
get-workloadanalysis -connectionname xxxxx_sqlserver -startdate "2019-10-28 00:00:00" -enddate "2019-10-29 00:00:00" -Category "Logical Reads" -Path "D:\"
In Spotlight versions 13.3 run the below command:
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Spotlight Enterprise\Console folder of the client machine
2. Right-click on ds-cli.cmd file to run as Admin and open PowerShell in command line
3. Run the below command:
get-workloadanalysis -connectionname xxxxx_sqlserver -startdate "2019-10-28 00:00:00" -enddate "2019-10-29 00:00:00" -Category "Logical Reads" -Path "D:\"
For Spotlight version 13.4 and higher, please check the following link for correct syntax.
Note:
1. Change the 'xxxxx' text to the name of SQL Server connection. Change the start and end dates accordingly.
2. Category should be the same as shown in the Workload Analysis drilldown in Spotlight. It can be any one of the following: CPU, Duration, Logical Reads, Physical Reads, Writes
2. The exported file will be placed in the same folder of the dll named "WorkloadAnalysis_ xxxxx_sqlserver _Logical Reads_ 20191028000000_20191029120000.csv"
