Resolution
WORKAROUND:The Microsoft documentation for this wait says this:"Full-text is waiting on an fdhost control operation. Documented for informational purposes only. Not supported. Future compatibility is not guaranteed."Spotlight should be ignoring this in the future. For now the workaround is as follows:1. On the Diagnostic Server host locate the file {DS install dir}\Agent\conf\Package\sqlserver_spotlight\IdleWaits.txt and copy it to another folder as a backupNote: Please don't back up the IdleWaits.txt into the Diagnostic Server install path2. Edit the file3. Add FT_IFTSHC_MUTEX to the end of file4. Save the file5. Restart the Spotlight Diagnostic Server serviceSTATUS:Enhancement request has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise. -
