Description
User tries to run Spotlight web report "SQL Server Metric" and getting following error:
"Error converting data type nvarchar to float." -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Download attached patch and follow below steps to apply patch.
1. Backup files SQL Server Metric Report.rdl, Web Reports 2005\SQL Server Metric Report.rdl and Web Reports 2008\SQL Server Metric Report.rdl under the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Spotlight on SQL Server\Plug-ins\Trending\Reports
2. Use the attached updated ones to replace the existing ones
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in future version of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise.
