Description
After launching a Spotlight, setting up the connection info, while hitting connect, get the following error:
The following error occurred in <instance name> during connection:
Assertion Failure (C:\Spotlight Console\MDK\2.0\Plugins\RepositoryLW\LightweightRepository.pas, line 756)or
List index out of bounds (3196)
Assertion failure (C:\SpotlightBuild\workspace\Spotlight-on-Oracle\Spotlight\Source\plug-ins\RepositoryLW\LightwieghtRepository.pas, line 605)
However, test connection gives a status of OK.

Cause
The location of historical repository is not found or the permission to access it is denied or corrupt. -
Resolution
SOLUTION 1:
Run Spotlight with the "Run as Administrator" option on.
SOLUTION 2:
1. Open Spotlight.2. Go to View | Options | Storage | Clear history, select the connection in question and click the Delete button.3. Create the connection again.
