When I have Spotlight running already and click the spotlight executable to start another Spotlight instead of opening a new Spotlight window, it takes me to the Spotlight that is already running.
How can I have multiple Spotlight consoles running on a single PC?
The only way to do this would be to install Spotlight again in a separate path, meaning you would be running two Spotlights from two separate locations.
However, keep in mind that Spotlight is very resource intensive on the machine where it is run, and it is not really a monitoring tool as such, but rather intended as a diagnostic tool for diagnosing performance bottlenecks.
