Is there an automatic reconnect if Spotlight on Oracle loose the connection to the database server for any reason? (for example network issues)
Spotlight on Oracle certainly doesn't attempt to reconnect once a network failure has occurred. This is the primary reason we don't claim Spotlight to be a 24x7 monitoring tool.
