Can the Spotlight history be shared by multiple users?
This is not possible with the current version of Spotlight. There would be concurrency issues if you set the history target to the same path and then simultaneously have two users run Spotlight.
The reason Spotlight has an option to change the location of history data is not to facilitate sharing, but simply to give flexibility, for example to set a location that is automatically backed up.
