Spotlight DB2 does not show the same DB2 catalogue info as Toad for DB2. Does Spotlight use the Toad DB2 IBM client?
Spotlight cannot use the Toad DB2 IBM client. A separate DB2 client must be installed.
The DB2 catalogue from Toad can be exported via the Client Configuration Wizard (consult the Toad help for more info). Then import the DB2 catalogue into the separate DB2 client by going to "Start | Program Files | IBM DB2 | <Native DB2 Client> | Setup Tool | Configuration Assistant." Form the Configuration Assistant window, go to the "Configure" drop down and choose "Import Profile | All" and select the file exported from Toad DB2. Re-launch Spotlight and all the catalogue from Toad should show up.
