From Quest Central for DB2, a DBA tried to reorg a table, but the job never completed. The WLM startup job runs out of storage space due to many warning messages stating ICH70001I that were issued every 30 seconds.
The message is issued by RACF to identify the user.
WORKAROUND:
Set the background refresh on Spotlight up to 999 (from Spotlight go to File | Option | General). This will cause the software to issue less frequent messages.
The message will appear every 16 minutes instead of 30 seconds.
It is common for this message to display in the log. You can read the IBM documentation on how to suppress the message from the console by updating the MPFLSTxx member. To suppress the messages from SDSF, you will need to read the RACF documentation on how to update the SAF Router Exit.
