User does not install Spotlight at home, Is there any command to show used percentage of Log space utilization like Spotlight does?

WORKAROUND:
1) Set a email notification on the log status field, Spotlight can send out email when log percentage large than a value.
2) Remote Connect to a PC in company and get information.
3) Buy another Spotlight license and install it in Home PC.
