Reorg aborts with AbortScript: Aborted ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object
Description

This scenario can occur if a job is cancelled and restarted whilst an index is being built.
Cause

This is a timing issue. If Oracle completes an index build before the cancellation of the job takes hold, QSA thinks the index build was cancelled when it actually did complete.
Resolution

WORKAOUND:

Drop the index and restart the job.

STATUS:

Enhancement request CR0206469 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Space Manager with LiveReorg.
