Locks reporting not generating reports -
Description
After enabling the following parameters as per the help guide, there are no reports generated under the QSA log directory once a locking scenario occurred:
LOCKS_REPORTING
LOCKS_CANCELLED_JOBS
LOCKS_SCRIPT_LOG
LOCKS_SYSTEM_FILE_LOGS
LOCKS_SYSTEM_FILE_APPEND -
Resolution
Most of the locks that a LiveReorg performs are blocking (wait for the lock). In order for the locks to be reported, the LiveReorg needs to be canceled or the locks need to be of a different type.
For example, if a "610:Locking" message is seen in the Jobs/Script Monitor page, the only way to generate the LOK file under QSA log directory is to right-click on the reorg job and cancel it.
