How to delete an unwanted queues in Shareplex for Oracle Version 4.5 and above.
To delete the unwanted queues with no messgaes then use deleteq command to remove the queue:
1) ON SOURCE Shareplex must be shutdown ./qview -i qview> qsetup <port#> qview> list --this will show all queues on the source box qview> deleteq C qview> deleteq X -delete all queues one by one if you have multiple export queues
2) ON TARGET
Shareplex must be shutdown ./qview -i qview> qsetup <port#> qview> list qview> deleteq P (delete all post queues by repeating the command) qview> exit
3) ON TARGET ./sqlplus splex_user/splex_pwd truncate table shareplex_trans
NOTE: If You delete the capture queue then the export queue and post queue need to be deleted . If you delete the export queue then post queue needs to be deleted.
