The monitoring scriptsp_ps does not alert until all the post queues are stopped in a multiple post queue environment.
This is due to multiple post queues and you need to customize the script for your environment
Attached is a pre-modified script, that can be used.
1. Set the environment for each sp_cop you have.
alias spbin='cd /u01/jess/prod53/bin'
alias spvar='cd /u01/jess/var'
2. Place the attached sp_ps_new in the shareplex prod dir/util directory.
3. Modify the following lines in the script
a) # Change this directory to your directory where you place your env file or .profile
b) change interval (seconds) based on how often you want to check to see if any process is down
SharePlex Manager allows you to monitor and alert SharePlex processes.
Support doesn't customize shell scripts for specific customer environment, PSO should be contacted.
