sp_cop does not start. This usually occurs after a system reboot or maintenance.
The following is found in the event_log:

Info 2010-10-28 18:57:43.620368 12968 1 SharePlex was shutdown
The license key has become invalid.
Obtain a new permenant key from your sales rep or have Shareplex support issue you a temporary key.
