ora_setup fails accessing remote database. (4303129)

ora_setup fails to connect to a remote database when using Oracle Client on local server.

Connecting to ASM using credentials supplied. Validating user name and password. . . This may take a few seconds.

Error! Unable to login using the user name and password just entered.
 The user name and password specified are not valid.

Ensure you have the correct username and password.
Oracle client installed on the local server may not have all the binaries required for SharePlex.

Workaround:
Install complete Oracle Database software on the local server that has the SharePlex installation OR manually create the missing Oracle binaries in the client bin directory.

Note: Trace / Strace output may provide more details on the missing binaries that cause ora_setup to fail.
