At times one may find the need to change the password for SSL network. The reasons could be many, among others, as listed below:
The password was compromised.
There is a password rotation policy in place.
The password was changed on one node in question for some reasons which necessitates the change on other nodes.
The password change involves the following steps:
sp_ctrl (alvsupl17:9138)> shutdown
[ORA11GR2@alvsupl17]/home/paul/p91338-11g/prod/bin> ./sp_security --setup

Once you change the password on one node, it is imperative that the password be changed on the corresponding nodes as well.
