The activate config with SCN option results in “Invalid number provided” -
Description
The following errors are observed in sp_ctrl when activating a config with SCN option (shown here is an actual screen shot)
sp_ctrl (alvsupu15:5438)> activate config <config_file_name> scn=246042016924604209
Invalid number provided: 24604201692460420169

Cause
Incorrect SCN # has been provided which does not exist in the source database.

Resolution
Reissue the activate command with correct SCN # and it will succeed. -
