Shareplex for Oracle Version 4.5 and above: What does Reason: 15041 - Messages # to # have been discarded during recov in the statusdb mean
If Shareplex was shutdown abnormally-- due to the system crash, for example, it will perform queue recovery on startup. By default, capture issues a checkpoint every 2000 messages. When a Shareplex process is performing recovery, it will go back to the last checkpoint and will begin processing from that point on. All messages processed since the last checkpoint and prior to the crash will be discarded during recovery.
