Pid 1111 in trap loop, signal 11
[1] + Memory fault ./sp_cop & -
Cause
Issue is specific to HP Itanium . It was caused when using a specific HP dynamic loader during compilation.

Resolution:
Upgrade to 6.1.1.23.
