Cause
Compare fails as it cannot obtain a lock on the target table .

Resolution
1. With the repair1 option the target table will be locked for the duration of the compare and repair, and it will repair out-of-syncs as it finds them. With the regular repair option the table is first compared, then locked and repaired, this results in the target table being locked for a shorter period of time. The time for which the target table is locked is important because it can cause poster to block and the post queue to build up.
2. The usage of repair1 : Use the word "repair1" instead of repair in compare command.
Syntax for Repair1:
compare source_schema.table to target_schema.table target hostname@o.sid repair1
