Can SharePlex purge historical or past Change History (CDC) data on target based on some criteria (4330615)

Customers have this requirement of purging the Change History target periodically and want to know if it is possible to do this with via a SharePlex command. 

Currently SharePlex does not have any command  or feature to automatically purge the historical (or past) data on a CDC (or Change History) target.

SharePlex is not designed to temper with the target data and that option is left to the discretion of user. SharePlex will only remove the data from its internal tables as and when needed during replication. Other than this, it does not have any commands in sp_ctrl to remove data from target selectively. It is possible to completely wipe out the target data using ora_cleansp or use the qview utility to manually remove target data but there is no convenient command in sp_ctrl to achieve this selectively.
