Description

If Shareplex Manager web services is having issues with staying up for a long time or takes time to start up memory allotment can increased .
Resolution

Instructions to increase memory allotment for Web Services and timeout . You need to modify the web-services.sh. file.
1) Stop Web Services via $WEB_SERVICES_FOLDER/bin/web-services.sh stop
2) Backup $WEB_SERVICES_FOLDER/bin/web-services.sh
3) Vi web-services.sh
4) Find/search for string Xms
5) Modify Xms=300M -> Xms=512M
6) Modify Xmx=500M -> Xmx=1024M
7) Start Web Services with new operations timeout via $WEB_SERVICES_FOLDER/bin/web-services.sh start -t120
