When Secure Copy starts the copy job it will set Full Control to the target root folder(s) to copy the files. The process will copy files using Full Control while preparing the permission list of the source data at the end of the copy job. When the file copy job finishes, the permissions are processed against the target folder structure. Then the Full Control permission is removed from the root folder(s) and the job completes.
Note: Secure Copy only writes data on source when use volume shadow copy on local source paths to ensure open files are copied option is selected.
