After installing Secure Copy, an error occurs when trying to apply the license key.
"Failed to determine license generator from license file"
The .DLV license file has been corrupted.
Open the license file using NotePad or WordPad. The file is typically blank when this error occurs.
Download a 'fresh' copy of the Secure Copy license file from the email sent by the License team, and copy to the server where Secure Copy is installed.
Apply the license file to Secure Copy by opening Help menu | License Status | Details.
