At the completion of forced snapshot or through the snapshot interval and the transferred snapshot is written to the repository successfully, but the recovery point appears under a completely different agents Recovery Point Tab.
The Agent Summary may also show volumes that are actually on a different protected server / agent.
If DNS is resolving 2 separate protected servers / agents to the same host name you can see this odd console behavior as described. This can cause issues when restoring a protected agent because the console may show recovery points that you believe are for the agent needing a restore, but you would be restoring data from another protected agent.
***This will happen to agents that have the same disk configuration***
On the Core, flush DNS and verify that any HOST File entries on the servers / agents in question do not include incorrect IP / Host name entries
***Once DNS has been corrected close the console on the core and any remote console installs and cycle the Core Service (Stop and Start)***
