This document provides a list of issues addressed in Recovery Manager for Exchange 4.0.1.
For each issue addressed in Recovery Manager for Exchange 4.0.1 the following list includes the issue identifier (CR ID) and a brief description of the problem.
CR0183118
Fixed: After you upgrade Recovery Manager from version 3.0 or 3.1 to version 4.0, you may encounter the following problem: Some sources and targets that were registered with the earlier version are not displayed in the console tree.
CR0183455
Fixed: After you upgrade Recovery Manager from version 3.0 or 3.1 to version 4.0, you may encounter the following problem: Cataloging a new backup file fails with the error "Unable to detect format of the backup file '<Backup_File_Name>'."
CR0181571
Fixed: When you install or upgrade your Recovery Manager license using an invalid license key file, you may encounter an error message that incorrectly identifies the problem: "Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application."
CR0181710
Fixed: When you register Exchange Server databases in which the overall number of mailboxes exceeds the maximum allowed number of mailboxes as per your Recovery Manager license, you may encounter an error message that incorrectly identifies the problem: "Snap-in failed to initialize."
CR0181740
Fixed: When trying to expand a public folder hierarchy node in the console tree, you may encounter the following problem: The node fails to expand with the error "Could not connect to the public folder hierarchy through the following Exchange Server: <Distinguished_Name_of_Exchange_Server>."

Fixed: When trying to expand a console tree node associated with a .pst file, you may encounter the following error: "Undefined MAPI error. Detailed description is not available."
CR0182408
Fixed: When running a task that restores mailboxes to a folder in a .pst file, you may encounter the following problem: The restore operation fails with the error "Could not access subfolder <Folder_Name>."
CR0183805
Fixed: On the "Select How to Add Storage" page in the Add Storage Wizard, the Computer Associates ARCserve Backup 11.5 entry is erroneously missing from the list of the third-party backup software products that are supported by Recovery Manager.
CR0180715
Fixed: When using a list of message-level items in the details pane of the Recovery Manager main window, you encounter the following problem: Multiple items cannot be selected from the list. The expected behavior is that you can select multiple items by holding down Ctrl or Shift and clicking items in the list.

Fixed: You cannot restore items by using the drag-and-drop operation in the Recovery Manager main window.
CR0183823
Fixed: When you use the Exchange emulation feature to restore data from a backup that was created by using Computer Associates BrightStor ARCserve Backup, you encounter the error "Computer Associates BrightStor ARCserve Backup 9.0, 11.0, or 11.1 agent is not installed or not running on this computer." This error appears even if the BrightStor ARCserve Backup agent is installed and running on the computer where Recovery Manager is installed.

Fixed: When you use the Exchange emulation feature to restore data from a backup that was created by using Computer Associates BrightStor ARCserve Backup, the restore fails with the error "Could not find a part of the path <Path_to_Folder>."
