Azure Repository Creation Fails with “Failed to Initialize Storage Client Library” Error
Description

When attempting to create an Azure repository in Rapid Recovery version 6.11, the operation fails with the following error:

System.InvalidOperationException: Failed to initialize storage client library: The specified module could no be found.

This prevents successful configuration and use of Azure-based repositories within Rapid Recovery.
Cause
This issue has been identified as defect RR-112082.

The root cause is related to changes introduced in Rapid Recovery 6.11 involving OpenSSL. Specifically:
- Rapid Recovery 6.11 includes an updated OpenSSL version.
- The Azure storage client libraries bundled with the release were not rebuilt against this updated OpenSSL version.
- This incompatibility causes the Azure storage client initialization to fail, resulting in the reported error.
Resolution
A patch has been developed by the Rapid Recovery Development team to address this issue in version 6.11.

Resolution Steps
1. Download the patch P-2676.
2. Apply the patch to the Rapid Recovery Core server. For steps to apply a patch, please refers to KB:

3. After installation, retry creating the Azure repository.
