Virtual Standby to VMware host is a full export each time
Description

Virtual Standby to VMware host run a full export for every pass. Virtual Standby should only run a full export for the initial export and base images. Other exports should be incremental.
Cause

This is caused by a conflict between Rapid Recovery and VMware when using the HotAdd transport method. This has been identified as defect D-31877.
Resolution
Status
This issue is resolved in Rapid Recovery builds 6.0.2 and newer. Please upgrade to the latest build of Rapid Recovery to resolve.
Patch
Patch is for Rapid Recovery 6.0.1. The patch will disable HotAdd functionality for Virtual Standby only and leave transfers alone. The patch will be provided when opening a support service request.
To install the patch:
1. Pause protection for the agents, pause replication, pause virtual standby
2. Either wait for existing jobs to finish or cancel them and wait for the cancellation to complete
3. Once these are done open up services and stop the Rapid Recovery Core service
4. Install the patch
5. Restart the Rapid Recovery Core service if needed
Note: Patch will remove all HotAdd functionality from the core, not just for Virtual Standby, backups will be affected as well.
