This issue is seen in servers where the FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard Publication) setting is enabled. To determine whether the core or agent machine is FIPS 140-2 compliant, here are steps to check whether it has FIPS enabled or disabled in the registry.
Perform the following steps:
If FIPS is enabled on the system, then the Rapid Recovery 6.3 installer version for the core and agent are blocked from installation because they do not activate the proper cryptographic algorithms during the installation process. This has been identified as defect RR-109235 in Rapid Recovery 6.3.0.
This defect will be fixed in a future release.
