This knowledge article will briefly outline the new features and enhancements in Rapid Recovery release 6.2.1. It will also include features not previously described in other technical product documentation. For more detailed information about these features and enhancements, please read the release notes and review the linked KB articles below. Resolution
Rapid Recovery 6.2.1 is a maintenance release, with some enhancements & depreciated features.
Enhancements
Updated Agent for Linux operating systems
Redesigned block tree: The resulting product includes a significant reduction in the consumption of RAM in the kernel module (rapidrecovery-vss).
Improved support for B Tree File System (BTRFS): Improvements let Rapid Recovery Core expand the kernels it can protect to include 3.7 and later.
Additional Linux operating systems support
Version 6.9 for CentOS Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Oracle Linux.
Version 9 for Debian Linux.
Version 17.04 LTS and 18.04 LTS for Ubuntu Linux.
Version 12 SP1 and 12 SP2 of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES).
These OS distributions have reached end of life, and are therefore no longer tested. Agent, Agentless, and Live DVD support for these OS is therefore limited.
Exchange Server
Exchange Server 2007 reached end of life April 2017. Microsoft no longer supports this version of Exchange.
Accordingly, Rapid Recovery support of Exchange 2007 is deprecated. In Rapid Recovery release 6.2.1, only limited support is provided for Exchange 2007.

Tiering repositories
Kaseya integration
Azure Service Management (ASM): Microsoft announced that support for ASM is retired as of June 30, 2018. Accordingly, support for ASM within the context of Rapid Recovery will be deprecated after 6.2.1.
