Can't export a drive with error message: " This type of volume is not supported for export " (4042079)

When trying to Export Volumes of a machine certain Volumes are greyed out and unavailable for Export. We are however able to restore them after the machine itself has been restored.

Exporting Dynamic Volumes that are spanned over 2 or more Hard Drives is not supported hence the reason they are greyed out.

Workaround:

Please export the drives you are able. This would in most cases include the SRP and C: drive which will enable you to start your machine after Export.

Once this process is finished you can simply restore the other Volumes through Restore / Live Restore process and have all your data back on the exported machine.
